Basic recipes
Bold & thick matcha latte:
- 4g (around 1-2 bamboo scoops or strength preference of choice) of matcha into whisking bowl
- Add 30ml of 80°C water
- 100ml of cold or warm milk of choice.
Thin usucha:
1. 2g matcha (1 bamboo scoop)
2. 60ml of water at 80℃

Our Namisan guarantee means we will never carry matcha beyond the 6 month mark of its creation, providing the highest quality and fresh matcha powder. Always ground fresh using the youngest tea leaves from the first harvest, packed full of antioxidants, ensuring a vibrant and fresh matcha powder.
How to Make the Perfect Matcha

MEASURE & SIFT
Measure 1 tsp or 2-3g of matcha (about 2 bamboo scoops or adjust according to taste) and sift the powder into your mixing bowl

WHISK
Add 30-40ml of 70-80°C water and whisk vigorously in a 'Z' or 'M' motion, until powder is dissolved and froth appears

SERVE
Piccolo version: combine matcha with 40-50ml of cold or warm milk of choice for a bold and umami latte.
Iced americano version: combine matcha with ice and 100-120ml of cold water! Sip, savour & enjoy!
