Preparing the Perfect Cuppa Matcha

  • MEASURE & SIFT

    Measure 1 tsp or 2-3g of matcha (about 2 bamboo scoops or adjust according to taste) and sift the powder into your mixing bowl

  • WHISK

    Add 30-40ml of 70-80°C water and whisk vigorously in a 'Z' or 'M' motion, until powder is dissolved and froth appears

  • POUR

    Latte version: combine matcha with 40-50ml of cold or warm milk of choice for a bold and umami latte.

    Iced Americano version: combine matcha with ice and 100-120ml of cold water! Sip, savour & enjoy!
